Your Body As A Vessel for Emotion, Thought and Beyond

When I started sending out this newsletter back in early 2010, my intention was to share what I know about health, wellness and living an empowered life in a way that's thoughtful, engaging and fun. Over the months and years, I've shared with you my own personal journey, as well as lots of useful information. But there's one tool that I've wanted to share with my readers that I just was not ready to.

You see, before I was a health coach, before I was an embodied wisdom coach and before I was a WellPRO coach, I was what's called an SRITM Wellness Educator. When I was still working a 9-5 (well, okay, a 10-6) :), I would spend evenings and weekends working with people using a hands-on tool called Somato Respiratory IntegrationTM.

This is a tool that I myself continue to use nearly every day to tap into my limitless personal energetic resource. I use it because it empowers me and therefore those I serve. It's incredibly effective at assisting people in making the profound connection between their body, their emotions, their thoughts and beyond. But, I've limited myself in sharing about it in this forum because I thought that it wasn't possible to effectively share about it or offer it remotely.

Well, guess what? That's no longer a concern! I've now worked with multiple people, on multiple continents via video and am ready to begin offering this tool to those who can see it would make a difference for them.

Pamper Thy Self!

Last year, I committed to pampering myself, at minimum, once per week. This was a big deal for me given the strength of the stigma that there can be around "pampering" and masculinity. The result? I haven't had physical symptoms that stop me from functioning in more than a year after a year in which I had them three times! I'm glad I let that stigma dissolve. :)
